Always be yourself. Unless you can be a unicorn. Then be a unicorn! (taken with Pose)
Saturday at work. I got this skirt a few years ago at Urban Outfitters and just never had the perfect shirt to wear with it. We got this denim shirt in at Downtown Cowgirl and I new I had an outfit! We also got a few sweaters in at DTCG that I think will be cute with the skirt too…can’t wait to get some more use out if it! Gotta love a skirt with pockets! (taken with Pose)
Work outfit for Sunday of Black Friday weekend! Dress and sweater from Downtown Cowgirl, Frye shoes, necklace I made myself and Anthropologie coat I found at Marshals for $40! Score! Love this coat!
What I wore Saturday of Black Friday weekend. Loved this outfit! Dress, sweater and tights from Mod Cloth, Bass shoes and my roller derby name necklace that Erin got for me!
My puzzle piece window idea came to me one night at my friend Lea’s house, working on one of her puzzles over a few beers waiting for The Walking Dead to come on. A few days later I was hitting thrift stores looking for puzzles. Each piece is sprayed silver or gold on both sides, and has two holes drilled in it to thread the yarn. Yes, it was a lot of work. With the help of two employees we strung a countless number of puzzle pieces. After taking down the old window display (my bulldog, Stella properly disposing of the old paper chains), it took me a good eight hours and multiple trips up and down a 10ft ladder to hang everything. I never know when I get these ideas if they will translate well from my imagination to the window but I think it turned out pretty cool! I think the window looks the best at night when all the puzzle pieces sparkle in the light.
