It has become a tradition for my husband, Marcus, and I to take a camping trip to the Cape Henlopen State Park in the spring and in the fall. It’s an excellent way to relax and unwind before and after our busy summer season. Last week we took our annual fall camping trip and had an amazing time. I drank way to many pumpkin beers and ate way to many s’mores. One of my favorite things about camping there is that you can hear the ocean from most of the campsites. It is awesome listening to the ocean and falling asleep under the stars. Whether we are camping or not, Marcus and I are at the park pretty much at least once a week hanging out at the beach, running or biking the trails or taking Stella for a walk. It is truly one of my favorite places in Delaware. The way the forest meets the ocean makes for some incredible scenery. If you haven’t been to the Cape Henlopen State Park yet, you should definitely take advantage of this beautiful fall weather and start exploring now! Check out their website for upcoming events, I know I’ve seen signs for a wine and cheese tasting event coming up in October that looks like fun!
